Welcome to the music-website of Fred Bos.

Fred Bos was born on the 6th of December 1949 in Zaandam/Holland. He lived his childhood in Amsterdam en nowadays he lives together with his wife in the Zaanregion a nice apartment near the river "De Zaan" (The Zaan). Because Fred is living near " The Zaan" , he is also known as "De Zaanse Shadow".

He is and always was a huge fan of Hank B. Marvin and this goes back to July 1960 on the moment that Hank and the other members of The Shadows Apache had released.

In 2002 had Fred started with playing the electric Guitar. He loves to play music of The Shadows or Shadows-like music, with Shadowssound attached.

Now eleven years  later , Fred has build an entire repertoire of his songs. He has recorded  now over  100 numbers  and several with  brilliant and beautiful videoclips. Fred had sometimes performed as well.
